Looking at an older V8 Vantage in Abu Dhabi, how thorough is the pre purchase inspection for these things really?

I've been eyeing a 2009 V8 Vantage that's popped up for sale privately over on Reem Island and the price is actually within reach for a change which has me both excited and deeply suspicious at the same time because we all know the running costs on an older Aston can get a bit silly if you buy the wrong one, I'm specifically worried about the clutch wear on the Sportshift transmission and the state of the timing cover gaskets because I've read enough horror stories on PistonHeads to know that if those haven't been addressed recently you're looking at a bill that could buy a small Japanese hatchback, the seller seems genuine and has some receipts but it's not a full main dealer history and I'm not about to take a gamble on a handshake and a promise, so I started asking around in a few local car groups about getting an Aston Martin pre-purchase vehicle check done by someone who actually knows where to look for the common rust spots and the specific squeaks and rattles that these bonded aluminum chassis develop over time, I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if the inspection report on a car like this really goes deep enough to catch things like a weeping rear main seal or if it's just a glorified visual walkaround with a code reader plugged in for five minutes, because if I'm going to spend the money on a PPI I want to make sure it's the kind that saves me from buying a very pretty but very broken British daydream.
